this is not only for me, but also for the benifit of others. What are the best free hosts out there for someone on these forums? (that is they preferably offer a fair amount of memory, good bandwidth, no ads, and preferably no little catches like being an active member of their forums) Maybe we can make an official top list for people like those on this forum (which require different things from a host than what the other top-lists rank by).

It says it's unable to deliver my email address when I type it in. Anyone else have that problem?

@Joe:You need to provide an email address that you are given by an ISP. ie: joecooning@cox.net or whatever.

Newbie Brogo, most of it may be true, but some of those threads are old, so the prices can become obsolete.
I saw a free host without banner getting a nice visible add, so I would not suggest it anymore.
If such a thread would come every second month, it would be ok.

Freewebs is good. Thats what I use. My website is in my profile.
