DarkBASIC Discussion / Red Circles with Lines through the Middle.

I have saved bmp image files into my project Dark Basic folder so I can use them in my programming, but for some strange reason, the images folder icons all contain a red circle with a single red line diagonally through the middle, as if there is an error with them.
The top folder mygame is okay, as that is just a yellow triangle.

Should these red circles be happening?
That could explain why I can't load any images.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kevin, what exactly do you mean by that?

Also, you could attach one of the bitmaps ( if it's below 1MB ) so that we can look for ourselves too see if they're corrupt.

Hi Jess.

I have taken a photo of my screen containing the red circles.
The picture is not very clear, as I had to convert it from JPG format to BMP format, but you can see the red circles.

Are they supposed to be there?
Could there be something corrupt?

That means that you cannot open the image file with the IDE, only DBA files. There's nothing wrong with the images.

Hi Phaelax.

I should be able to access one of the bitmap images that came with Dark Basic, but it's coming up.... File Does Not Exist.

Example: I found an image called COTTAGE.BMP in the Dark Basic media files. I then loaded My Project to get my programme up.
I then typed in LOAD BITMAP "cottage.bmp", but when I run it, I get then same message.... File does not exist.

How can it not exist, if it's already in Dark Basic.
I've even copied & pasted it into the same folder as My Projects, and it still comes up the same message.
