Quick education lesson...
レイヴン (you will need to activate Asian Languages in Windows 2000/XP in order to view it), now this cannot be translated directly into English but rather it is translated to it's closest Phonetical Hewbrew-Latin Sounds.
レ - Le
イ - I / Y
ヴ - Vi
ン - N
While it is pronounce roughly Raven, those are the technical sounds you put to the letters.. L = R but is slightly shortened with an L sound within it. I = EE, E = Ahy ... So re-ahy-e(short)-vhi-n(should be elongated but there is no way to do that with Latin letters unfortunately).
It is a direct translation from the English derived word. Raven in Japanese is actually a different work and spelt with a symbol for Crow more'often. I was attempting to use Unicode symbols when I wanted to change it, but this stupid forum won't allow them. So I just settled for the English variation on the Japanese variation.
So as I said to quite a few others who asked about the change, it didn't *actually* change. If people had better handle on other languages this would've been quite painfully aparent, as I'm sure it was to a number of users who are versed in the asian languages.
Anyways, what the hell does it matter if I change my name. I could call myself 'The Siggley One' with a small Dancing Duck as my Avatar. If that's what I feel like doing then that's what I'll do, that is the beauty of being in a forum. You can change your name at will if you choose, christ why is it everytime I do something everyone makes a sodding mountain out of a mole hill. Yet others do things daily and no one bats an eye'lid.
I feel more social lives for some users are urgently needed!
As for the comment about Max, seriously; Comment when you create something better than your Mesh-Smooth AK47, and perhaps you will have leaway to try and judge based on your.. erm ..vast experience.
