and when I run the program, it says that it can't close the nest. what the f**k does that mean? is it because this is called from another subroutine? please help soon.

you're isusing the "and" command.

use and to check if 2 things are something, not to do multiple things:

if something=1 and otherthing$="this thing"=1 then do_something() is correct

but not:

if something=1 then do_something() and something_else()

Hey, I tried it and I got the same error, with it highlighting "return" and saying that it "can not close nest at line 71"

Actually, I fixed the error. But now it won't do random calculations! whenever i test it, always the same pattern comes out. how do i solve/fix/stop this?

If you want 10 random numbers from say 10 to 1000 and you want it to be a random sequence each time you would do somehing like this.
