What is full screen exclusive mode, is it any faster, and how do I activate it?

Full Screen exclusive gives directx all the power of your machine to make a pretty screen. It syncs to your monitor refresh rate. No page tearing or jerks if you know how to move your objects correctly.

Since most video drivers now adays have taken out our wait for vertical sync option, full screen exclusive forces it through a precision timer and buffers.

On my machine it runs faster as well as looks better. It looks very similar to Dark Basic classic. It is the only mode I ever use as windowed mode etc all seem blurry on my machine.
