I can't seem to download the latest patch from this link (it times out):
http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=download&fi=416564e8917747.38200355
or this one:
http://files.thegamecreators.com/darkbasicprofessional/upgrade/dbpro_upgrade_5_7.zip

Neither can a couple other people I know. Can someone 1. explain why it doesn't work and 2. send me the file please.

Thanks a lot
Neofish

That's what it seems like here as well. Nothing from files.thegamecreators.com seems to download today (and parts of yesterday.)

If someone would be so kind as to email me the db pro trial zip file. Please e-mail it to the email address listed in my profile. I am anxious to get started with db.

Thank you.

The hard drive in the file server died on the 21st and it took until today (25th!) for the host to actually realise this after consistent complaining to them every day. We have re-routed to another server for the time being, so once the DNS things are done it should be happy again (few hours time). We're ditching the host who had the file server and moving it to Pair Networks (same host as the web server) which should happen in the next few days.

Bloody cowboy web hosts. Keep your fingers crossed the forum server doesn't go the same way!

Cheers,

Rich
