Newcomers DBPro Corner / Text Rpg, Need Help

Hey all, Im making a text rpg, to get my knowledge of db better and like improve my game planning and desiginging skill and all that. its all going alright but when i add certain commands the text goes really big and then small lies appear when the user input an answer. this time i put in:
if lower$ (command$) = "Answer" then .....
and it went all weird. please help, cheers.

1. that if will never be true - the "Answer" should have a smaal a, not a capital one.

2. I'm not exactly sure what you mean... if your using input then it often has little lines underneath, I'm not sure why it just does. Also, check that you aren't changing the font size accidentally(its so easy to miss things when looking over your code)

You could try explaining a little better, or you could post some example code that does what you mean.

Cheers matey, i am using input and if the lines are normal then ill put up with ehm, i didnt change my text size but decided to change the display mode, which helped. and in the actual code i did use lower case, thanks for you help.
