Again... and overzealous moderator oversteps the bounds of good judgement, and censorship becomes his weapon of choice in squashing healthy disccussion and disagreement in this forum...

after all, what is a forum for but to exchange information, viewpoints, and opinions...

i am referring to David T and his locking of this thread...

there was no flaming, no harsh language, only a disagreement between what one poster thought was right, along with what David thought was what was right... and the other people involved in the discussion...

so to show that he is king, David excercised the right to censor the discussion, because he was shown to be in error... and because he can do it...

this is censorship plain and simple...

this is an overstepping of the bounds set forth in the forum rules and the intent of those rules...

and this is wrong...


i am making the administrator aware of this immediately.

By the end of the 87 messages it had descended into squabbling. No new points were being raised, no new takes, just tit for tat nit picking. That isn't an active discussion, it's a cock slapping exercise. David is welcome to unlock the thread, but if it continues on its current course I'll happily expire it. For the most part it was an interesting read, but even from the start it was a subject that has been regurgitated here many times already.

These forums will be breaking away from here in the coming weeks and will be self-contained, at which point we can most likely start from afresh.
