FPSC support's .DBO - which Gile[s] can export, so it might be quite straightforward. If you have an example giles .dbo you could send me, I'll test it tonight.

No direct support for giles is included - so if it does work it's more fluke than anything. You certainly won't be able to import giles maps into the FPSC editor.

I think he might have a shot using .DBO exports, they should load into FPSC - how they'll look and how they cope with collision is another matter though.

Um... Does the tag under my name say noob?

Rich is the website designer and a big part of the administration team for TGC, Mike and Lee are programming it and Simon is making media. RickV is project leader, but I think everyone involved in FPSC is beta testing.

Which is very true, however there's nothing stopping you importing an .X file and FPSC already uses .DBO which Gile[s] exports. We'll find out when someone (or me) tries an exported .DBO from giles.

Did'nt get it .

However...

I hope Walaber does'nt mind, but I tried his bowling alley, it's textured in the editor if I put all the textures with the .dbo, but when building the game it was untextured - hopefully that will be fixed though - it's probably possible to hack the build.

I could'nt scale it, so it's very small - but fine for my test. Collision seems fine on it, I was able to jump on top of it but as it was only the size of a table, I don't know how it would work on a big object.

Importing static objects is one thing - I just don't want people to get the impression you could load in a level created in giles and start attaching doors/windows to it, paint wall segments joining up with it, etc - it just doesn't work like that.
