ok i know im gonna get flamed so hit me with what you got. But what I would realy like is a snipet for a simple rpg game over interent. What i need is a simple server program and a simple client program. I want the server to handel movement and such, and the client to only send what keys are being pressed to the server so that the server can do the related action. I know this is alot to ask for so flame me or help me.

Well im not gonna flame you.

But when you say "Simple" server program and "Simple" client program.
A server program and a client program is not easy to make.

And i don`t think that anyone will give you a snippet with a rpg internet game

Why don`t you learn it yourself You don`t learn if people give you the code.

[EDIT] : You can also go and see the codebase There is lot of good code snippets.
Here is the link : http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=codebase_list

That`s just my opinion.

hate to say it, but it's been asked too many times, and they all wind up with the same results: flames. hate to burst your bubble.
why not just practice coding (a very important thing) and make a simple game, then build to a simple rpg. later, try simple connecting and multiplayer. maybe then you can think about an online rpg.
key points: keep practicing and avoid asking for everything. if people just hand over code and apps, then you have done nothing and are still at square 1.
thread should be locked by a mod imo.

here's a trick i do to keep going: imagine a glass jar (you). then imagine there's a grenade (wild and near-impossible ideas)inside. to keep the grenade from going off, you have to think realistically and practice programming and trying to make yourself more experienced. just follow everyone's advice, ask descriptive questions when you have trouble, and never let discouragement and obstacles get the best of you.
hope that helps.

Wow, before this gets locked, I just have to say nice one Irv. we have all seen too many threads where the advice of others is ignored and chaos is allowed to continue. But you just accepted it, so well done!
Now dont ruin it by asking how to make Half-Life3!
