I believe it's about time I did a WIP post, I've been meaning to for a few months.

Ok first off, the project is currectly called MOOD but that is likely to change before we finish. It's a FPS and I'm not even going to pretend that it's so great it could beat HL2 and DOOM3, because that'd just make me sound like an eejit.

Not surprisingly it's made using DBPro and we're using the Newton Physics Wrapper for DBP. So far anything 3D you can see has been made using DeleD.

I guess you'll be wanting some screenshots aswell:
The gun in these has been replaced, and the level is currently being redone so I'm not sure why I'm putting them up.

Screenshot with the current pistol, showing buoyancy.

Two of the weapons, the 'CSD Pistol' and 'CSD ZPM Granade' (Gravity Granade ).

Theres likely to be more screenshot and updates on either our own forums or our thread on the DeleD forums but I'll try to keep this space updated aswell if we get a good responce.

Additionally we plan on releaseing a small Demo at the end of February.

Ciao, Chris.

Thanks for the positive feedback, it helps to know some people are interested and like the looks of what we're working towards.

Walaber I don't see why know one else uses the buoyancy commands, they're great. Added with some paramaters to turn buoyancy on/off and you have good water. Although I'm having a few probelms but I'll hit your forum to solve them.

Oh and incase anyone's interested a more up to date screenshot taken from the start of our new level, looking from the Dam out over the water.

Thanks Lukas, I love hearing people say that. It puts me in the mood to MOOD, which really isn't helping my Physics coursework .

I've finaly managed to solve the problem with the slowdown, apparently changing the font size twice a frame is bad for speed, I'll need to re-think this one.

Hopefully we'll be able to get that demo out soon, well next week is holiday, so thats pritty much a whole week or programming as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks guys, I'll be sure to keep the work up. Heh heh, I don't want to promiss a demo and not give it to you.

In therory almost everything on my end will be done by the end of next week, it's just a case of can the rest of the team keep up. But I'm tring for the 28th as that'll be one year since me and Khris started working together on DB. Please don't quote me on that .
