I'm pasting a bmp image to the screen, writing text in whith the SYSTEM font an changing the font style, so, I have to paste the image again and update the text to show the new style, but then the text start to flicker. Why?

Have you tried to use "sync on" on simply "sync"??

you might try "cls" before you update your image
