Hi,

I'm currently writing a program that is going to run across a server of many computers , and I was wondering - a) how would you get an 'administration' program to run restricted access programs across many computers. i.e. Computer 1 is the administrator, and 2,3 & 4 are restricted users. Any suggestions on how computer 1 can excecute a program which runs programs on computers 2,3, & 4, like a shutdown, or a lockdown. Any help would be REALLY REALLY appreciated!!!

it's called a DOMAIN setup. You will need at least a Windows 2003 Enterprise edition for the server and Windows XP for the clients. Ofcourse you can always make your own program if you want me to hack it in 5 seconds.

BTW, you can use Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition also .
The extra features in Enterprise Edition are really favoured towards a multiple server domain controller setup.

thanks guys, also, would I have to put the program on every computer, or just run one program from the administrator?
