Yes!!!!!!

I cannot believe we actually pulled that off. I'm still in shock.

So, any other united / arsenal fans out there? Your views?

Absoltely fantastic. I was praying for it to be 2-2 when it struck half time, not in my wildest dreams did I expect it to be 4-2.

I now have to decide, which is the better - winning 2-0 at Old Trafford or tonight's mauling?

I hate football but other flatmates insisted on taking over the tv and sky box to watch it. I enjoyed it! I was really hoping for a punch up or for Rooney to be sent off.

Boo!

Did you see Vieira in the tunnel before kick off? He was trying to start a fight there

No, just Football Football, as opposed to 'American Football', which is really a cross between Rugby and Football isn't it? I remember going to see an American Football match a few years ago, are they really supposed to stop for a rest every 20 seconds?

lol yeah I've never seen an american football match, I was just clarifying it for any americans.
I would have liked to see Rooney being sent off though in the match - I think too many refs are being a bit light with him because he's young, plays for england etc. I'm sure any other player would have been sent off for swearing at the ref like that...

ps. Do they use feet much in american football? I always see pictures of players running holding the ball...but then I don't know anything about the rules

If he would have sent off Rooney, then he would have also had to send off Pires.

Plus god knows what would have happened if he had gone

Yeah, if you are 12, or american. Terrible word "Soccer". Spit. Tis the beautiful game of football. Or footy for short.

As to winning 4-2, heh that put it to them. Shame Chelsea are like totally awesome this year *coff*billionaire playing at football*coff*. Bit annoying the manager looks like he is going to do it at the first attempt too. And the coca-cola. And prob. the FA cup. Perhaps even europe????? Grief, taking the quadruple in your first season in england (ok, so he wasn't exactly un-successful last year).... For anyone who doesn't know, *no-one* has ever done the quadruple. ie. win the lot (lower european cup doesn't count as you can only be in one or the other). Hell, apart from Man utd, no-one has done even the treble (Liverpool did the cup treble mind) in england (didn't someone in europe do the same thing a year later?). Would have been a good bet at the start of the season. Hell, until Man U did the treble, that was the holy grail. Quadruple was never even mentioned. And no-one has done the domestic treble yet (ie. coca-cola, FA cup, and winning the league), which was really the original idea.

BTW, I know it's defeatist (we *can* win the league, but you have to be amazingly optimistic, and hope for some disaster at Chelsea, but it's not impossible), but hopefully now we can go on and secure 2nd. Almost worth it to beat smug Arsenal both home and away this year. Heh heh.

Cheers

Worth it completely!

I'm just wondering, what is the "coca cola"?

On TCM04 I did the quadruple in my first season, that was nice

Hi there.
As an Evertonian I despise man u and arsenal for, well for being so much better than we are now. But it was still great to see Arsenal get trounced no matter who by, I hate the evil pires. I cant enjoy it as much as I should though as I am still smarting a bit from the trechery of rooney. Still, a great game to watch.

Also, is it just me or is christiano ronaldo the Wil Wheaton of the premiarship.

Well as a United fan i must say that was the most enthralling game i've seen since the Champions Leugue final against Bayern. Simply stunning!

I loved seeing Rooney takin the piss outa Pires, damn someone has too! The football wasn't bad either!

And breaks every 20 seconds

Talking of breaks every 20 seconds, the beginning of the match at highbury was a bit fragmented
