interesting. there are no segments like that included. But it will be possible if you model it yourself. You could quite easily remodel one of the existing walls in Milkshape or something silimar and cut a recess in one of the existing walls.

Personally, I'd cut that out like a window, then have another thinner wall inside. The windows come with a cutting mesh as far as I can see, so cutting holes in segments should be fine but only for cutting all the way through. You would cut your hole then position a barrier.

It depends on your level editor whether you can cut out a hole or not.

The ONLY level editor you can use with FPSC is the
build in one.. The one in the video.

Erm Erm, you can export your level editor for DBPRo, AND, you can basically make a level as a MODEL, export it to .X.

You can MABY export your level to DBP yes but i dont think you can reimport it back into FPSC.
And yes you can make your map as a MODEL but it is not recomended
because it will be akward and have lots of problems.

@"Anime Civil"
All your talk about how you will use the script
and how you will make your maps makes me think
that you (and probably only you) will be realy
dissapointed with FPSC.

I think it will be a great product but you seem to
take so much that it cant do, for granted.

FPSC is a bit like a forest path, sticking to the path is safe and get's you where you want to go, but ignoring the path usually leads to problems. FPSC is there to be pushed and prodded and the people that do the pushing and prodding will produce the most unique games, but it'll only work if FPSC likes what your doing. It likes to be in charge of doors and windows, it likes to keep track of walls in an easy optimised system, and to let it continue doing this sterling work, it needs you to play by the rules.

Yes, I might be dissapointed with fpsc's not main coding option, but I will never know for sure unless I try.
