I just started using dark basic and i started with the tuttorials and they jump u into it way to quick you go from printing hello world to making a game they dont explain any of the commands i would just appreciate a few deffinition of things such as the matrix and other things.

There's an entire forum of definitions and questions and answers - the 'Newcomer's Corner'.

Check it out, there's plenty of content in there.

Also, try starting off using the 'Programming Principles' section of the help file.
