... Uh, this forum is so newbs ask the questions when they have them, not so we can wait around for questions to be asked. It's inefficient, and well barbaric!

Well, I'm trying aren't I.....

If you don't know DBP, then how do you expect to help anyone?

So look in the DBC Forum then.

Why did you even start this thread?

I'm making a valintines day thing, but I'm not to good yet. The first question is what is your name, how can I do it so that when I specify a name, and they type it in, a certain thing shows up, and when I specify another, and they type it, another thing shows up. I tryed, but it turned out that both things showed.

<Entering Brutal mode> Firstly this thread is pointless, why made a thread for people to ask for help IN THE FORUM WHICH WAS MADE FOR PEOPLE TO ASK FOR HELP....plus, try your hand in helping half the problems in this forum, chance are a fair few of them you wont be able to fix, why...because you havnt been using this long enough, heck most of them i cant answer.

<Entering Polite mode>
I would be willing to believe that you are a pro with a new account, however looking at your current project i can see you are a newbie too.
But please, the reason we mad ethis forum is so you could help people, so use it for that. dont make these threads which are redundant and just spark people like me into rages.
Please let this thread die, and put your skill to good use elsewhere in this forum.
Good-day

that's the last straw - i've gotta break my silence now !!!!

firstly, i've known darkbasic ever since even before it came out - before the very first beta demo was release which i personally obtained. I've know darkbasic even before the revered word was whispered by peopl on the streets - before the name ever struck amazement in their hearts - for at least let me se.. ( counting) 6 years i've known darkbasic - i've been off the FORUM SPECIFICALLy cuz i didn't use the inet much - okay?

and by the way - i opened this thread out of the generosity of my heart - i was open to helping anybody who needed help. though i was generous i wasn't so generous as to go looking out for people who needed help - i didn't have that much free time (unlike SOME people)...

and finally - i am as much a pro in darkbasic as the next guy - i've known it for 6 years inside out and i think i can solve pretty much every problem you throw at me - but hey! you don't need my help that's fine! and don't think your reverse psychology's gonna work on me - i might be among the best - but i am NOT GOD - so don't expect me to solve all your problems.

one more thing - i have known GAMES since i was 3 and i have know them for about 14 years now - starting from the atari up to the pc i've followed the line.

unfortunately due to the so called bad reputation of this thread - i'm closing it down - like the guy above said (thanks for the advice) - you need help just make your own thread and GOD willing, i might stumble upon it

Good Day Sirs!!

I think we upset him enough, not that we intended to.
Best just let this thread disappear into page 2 and beyond...
