I see alot of great games being done for the contests that TGC make .. it would be a great thing if the entries were open source so that all can learn from them ... after all the winner has got his prize so why not share his great work with the community so all can learn from his work.

well ... I know I'm gona get flamed for this

what are your thoughts?

All of the 2004 compo games come with source. The Retro Compo games also had source for some of them and the Alienware games came with useful routines/etc.

Super Joe crack combat soldier fights a long battle against overwhelming odds.

hmm ... didnt check the 2004 compo ... I had the impresion that these contests dont include source because I only downloaded some of the alienware compo games back then and they didnt include source code.

Thanks ... (this should be fun)

Including the source code is not required. But they give extra points for including it.
