hi I am looking for drivers for this network card:
intel PRO/100 VM Network Connection

my manufactour (or however you spell that) is Compaq.

i have been looking for drivers all day today (10.05 - 13.30) and I cant find anything. our server (at school) is down so I cant get it from there.. compaq's webpage is also down and intel's website tells me I have to download the driver from somewhere else because they dont have it..

so basically here is all i know and that i guess you need to know..

name: intel PRO/100 VM Network Connection
manufactour: compaq
OS: WinNT 4.0 (SP6)

thanks in advance

[edit]

this is very important as it is school project and im supposed to set up accounts to everyone in my class but first i need that driver so I can connect to internet and the network around me.. damn, if only our server was running id be done 3 hours ago!!

[edit]

[edit]

compaq's website is running quite happily but you need the exact model of your pc to get to right section. For example the following link has your driver:

I always rely on driverguide to make my pains go away in these situations:

http://www.driverguide.com

If it asks for a username and password, just enter:

Name: drivers
Pass: all

Hehe, sorry - I typed that out then did'nt post it for ages (nothing get's in the way of my coffee breaks).

I did find one that listed as supporting NT4, but the filename was 2kXP or something, so I doubt it'd work.

That link was for Evo Workstation W4000 CMT, W4000 SFF, W8000 and W6000 Models. Was first to come up in Google. I have no idea if that driver works on other models, so don't blame me if it don't work!

You should really go to compaq's home page and click support. This takes you to hp support.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/static_software_select?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&

Stick in model number of your compaq pc, and hopefully driver is their to download.
