I haven't actually tried it myself, but I believe you just build your cool screensaver effects in DB, and then rename your exe to a .scr file. The put it in your windows directory and it should show up in the list of screen savers.

Yes, it'll work, but if you want a real screensaver (with a neat configuration screen), it's not so easy...

For a start, you could take a look at this entry in the codebase:

It's quite old (sept. 2003), but it can help.

Ideas: memories of things which did not occur yet...
