Have any of u guyz ever heard of BASIC stamps made by Parallx? I have one and i have done everything in the book. Do u guyz have any cool projects or IDEAS ? If so, post 'em up, I'll build it and program it and put a picture of it up here.

I know what they are, I have the BS2 stamp and BOE Rev C and BOE-Bot Kit. I don't have any ideas, though.

PIC chips that run BASIC-like code. Actually its a bit more than just a chip, its more like a whole board with the chip on, along with 'ports' and stuff, so you can control things from it. I bet you can create some pretty cool things with those.

Multiplayer DLL on its way! Easy to use DLL for client/server multiplayer games.

I use the PICAxe chip. Im currently working on a remote switching application for my home audio setup. Ill post pics of the board once its fully soldered up.

I guess its a chip that understand BASIC-like code. So rather than having to use ASM to program the electronics, you can take the easy way out.

I found Basic stamps a bit expensive compared to the PICs. Probably because the brazilian government charges 70% tax on imported stuff.

I've had lots of ideas on what to do with a good controller, but most of them involve using a PC. The problem is finding the gears/engines to move the whole thing... I think BIG.

They cost from £59 in the UK, found some on the maplins site previously.
