i hate it first fo all there is no way to cancel or pause an update so if u ever start it then u have to finish it
btw
is htere anyway to cancel an update and yes i have tried manually ending the process but it just keeps coming back

my avatar is working for the first time since free-space went down

cant you turn off updating, so it doesnt try in the first place?

Yeah that used to annoy me. I finally worked out how to disable it though, yay me.
