I'm building my own computer......case!

Here's a concept render I did. The front will have a rolltop, like a bread box or fancy desk. Originally, I was going to use Cherry wood, but decided to use marbled walnut. The problem though, is I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a piece large enough. If not, I may go with quilted maple.

Here's a website with tons of different kinds of veneer.

Now that looks neat. From the title and the first line (while the pic was loading ... stupid internet) I expected to see legos in the picture

Mmmmmm...walnut, I've got white walnut logs for turning and making jewellery boxes etc. when I bench the logs up with the school bandsaw, brilliant wood for working with. Good luck on that, it looks like it's going to come out nicely.

As with it being hot, just mount a couple of fans in the side and run them from your power supply.

aye the fans will clear the hot out More fans the happier your computer..

Also, you may want to look into making sure it's grounded properly, but you may very well have done that

The inside will still be a metal frame. I may be moving real soon, so I have to put this off for a few weeks until I figure out whats up.
