memblocks are just like storing data right? so could u store words as data, like store some words, then read them and print them in a later file? i saw "write memblock word" command but that doesnt look like it writes an actual word, just data.

Correct Gil; Memblocks are just areas of memory set aside for data storage. You also got it - WORD and DWORD are numbers - integers. WORD is 2 bytes (0 to 65535) and DWORD is 4 BYTES in size. Most of the time, it's easier to use arrays and global variables instead of memblocks, but memblocks are great for handling large amounts of data quickly (like for bitmaps and objects).
