i need some free media player buttons such as a play button and yes i have googled forever with no success
and it needs to be royalty free and free

my avatar is working for the first time since free-space went down

There's no need to make your own! One of the fonts (webdings or wingdings) has the characters (Play, Pause, Stop, Back, Skip, Record) in built so you can just have regular buttons using this font.
