Hey guys, just got DBC and started coding my point'n'click adventure engine yesterday. Everything is fine, except fot today I've tried to "make .exe" and "make final" stuff and noticed that after "fade bitmap" is executed game pauses for about one second. This doesn't happen when I just run the code... Weird!
I inlude code for my outext function for you guys to check if you can. I know it's lame, but I've just started coding yesterday and by 11 pm it was 70% finished (the engine, not the game!)
Another question - will this happen if I upgrade to DBP(I'm planning this, eventually)?

Is it causing a problem?
It probably won't happen if you upgrade, though.

Well, it is a problem - now I don't know how my game will behave...
And it's quite easy to notice - you click, bitmap fades, pause, box with message appears...
I don't like it...
The engine is now 80% complete! Just need to code item use on action zone code and that's it!

Box with message? Like an error message?
