I was wondering if anyone new of a way to get the Set Music Volume command to work. Or maybe if someone knows a Dll that controls the volume of music.

Thanks

The only DLL I know about is WinMM.dll, which only plays .WAV files. I would assume this is the DLL that DB already wrappers for you.

Never mind (this is DBC not DBP).

Well, I sorta got around the problem by loading all the music files as sound instead of music. Then I used the Set Sound Volume command instead and it works. The Set Music Volume command isn't even in the help menu, but if you type it in it will compile, but the command is just ignored.

Bizarre.

I'm guessing that basically 'music's and 'sound's are played via different methods, and your computer (if not all) doesn't/don't support setting the volume via one of the methods.

Here's the specs of the computer I'm using:

-AMD Athlon(tm)XP 3200+
-2.6 GHz
-512 MB of RAM
-NVIDIA GeForce Fx 5200 Ultra

I don't see why this computer won't be capable of using that commnand. Also, the Hide All Sprites and Show All Sprites commands don't do anything, but they both compile. I've been making programs with DB on many diffenent computers for about 2 years now and I've never seen theses commands work.
