On the system requirment's page for DarkBASIC it say's you need a 300 MHz prossesser. But will DarkBASIC run as fast on 300 MHz just as well as a 1.0 Ghz? Is their a such thing as a "Recomended system requirments"?

System requirements usually just mean what sort of machine will 'cope' with the program without too much worry. Of course it will run smoother and be more responsive on a 1.0ghz compared to a 300mhz but if it says 300mhz then it should run fine on a 300mhz pc.

If I were you and you were me, then you'd be yourself 'cos you are me and I am you.

I first ran DB on a 333 Celeron with on-board SiS graphics. It worked fine - matrixes and several 3D objects running. Anything more than that and it slowed down quite badly though.
