Okay, i have a 800x600 game w/ a sprite taskbar. Now the map (paste image) looks fine, but the sprite looks weird .. i.e. some pixels squashed and writing is unreadable... Any help please?

When you load the image set the last paramater to 1

eg: Load Image "name.bmp",number,1

the 1 is to keep the image in pixel perfect quality rather than preparing for use as a texture.

I've never understood what preparation was needed to make an image useable as a texture, and why textures shouldn't be pixel perfect as well.

Why do you sink I ave zees outRAGEOUS accente?!

Its just that DBP prepares a mipmap for them if you have the last value as 0, and this looks distorted if used as an image. (or at least thats what ive gathered from the help files i may be wrong)
