Newcomers DBPro Corner / should I get Dark BASIC?

I learned at school how to program with visual Basic 6.0 and have recently become addicted to programming. I have started programming games but I don't have a software development tool at home. Anyway, will it be easy to go from Visual Basic to Dark Basic, and does Dark Basic have rapid application design?

Well what you can do is download the demo..
if its DBv1 www.darkbasic.com and select downloads

try it out for a few days and if all word out YAY!
i found it easy to program in VB after using DB youll probably be programming FPS engines within a week!

ohyea, try dbpro, i reckon it will be easier to go from vb to dbp rather than db1
