Anyone seen the series Nathan Barley? directed and co-written by the controvertial satirist Chris Morris and Charlie Brooker.
Anyone have any opinions on it?

I'm pretty sure it's the same Charlie Brooker who used to write articles for PC Zone. His reviews were hilarious, as were his cartoons and he also wrote a column on the back page from the point of view of a technophobe (the picture was him with three pairs of glasses on AFAIK). 1 million points if anyone can help me remember the name of the character... I think one of the first articles (issue 3 maybe) was where he dropped a matchstick in his 386 and it became self-aware and came up with a multi-million pound plan.

Gah ... wish I hadn't thrown away all my PC mags...

Lee listens to Megadeth for a start! And I cant imagine him saying "keep it dusted yeah?" or "thats well Jackson". I'm open to being proven wrong.
Lee send me VIDEO proof of you saying those catchphrases and I will gladly buy everything in TGC catalogue. INCLUDING Driving test success.

I've only seen one episode, and I thought it was ok. Reminded me of Peep show a bit, but not as good. Darkplace was tops though. Hopefully will do a family guy and be uncancelled when the dvd comes out. Anyone seen Nighty Night BTW? Great comedy.

Cheers

Ah, but once the series is repeated then I'll record it onto Sky+ and then put that onto DVD. And I will have the higher quality DVD. Of course the real DVD is then supposed to come out straight afterwards, so I might not bother....

Darkplace is great, really nostalgic. I'm wondering what the "point" is to Nathan Barley at the moment. The guy just seems like a bit of an a**ehole, and thats not really good enough to carry a programme along.

Nathan Barley is getting better, I think. He's turning into a complete and utter C***! Anyone else think this?
