Geek Culture / Proplems getting desktoped in the middle of playing a game

I just got my ram doubled from 512 mb to 1024 mb and never had any problems with 512. I had 2 256 sticks in before I put the new stick in and had no problems with them, but when I put the 512 in I get desktoped after about 5 minutes into the game.

The 2 sticks I had in before the upgrade was DDR PC3200 and 256 mb each. The new one is a DDR PC3200 with 512 mb.

It seems when the 512 is in I have the problems.

Any help is much appreciated.

umm... return them and get new ones or even better, find out which stick is faulty, and then return the faulty stick..

test both sticks alone.

I don't beleive any is faulty, The 512 works alone, and the both 256's work file alone, but when I have the 512 and one or both 256's I get desktoped.
