What is the difference between the two?

What advantages does DB have over VB?

Is db intended for games programming rather than application?

DB is intended for games rather than applications though I use it for both ... Visual Basic is way faster for applications and is not direct x dependent.

This is not the place, VB and DB are completely different animals, a 3 minute try of the demo would tell you the differences.

There is a section for other platforms, but these threads always result in flames so we gotta lock it.
