OK I am going to make an animated movie with a programming DBC. So I have a couple questions. Does anyone know where I can find a free tool to capture the screen? Is it possible to burn a dvd with a CD burner by slowing down the drive speed to a certian speed? And does anybody know a site where I find out how to convert .avi to dvd and create menus and small games in a dvd.

1) Hypersnap DX, but it'll leave a logo on the screen. Otherwise just press print screen, or better PROGRAM YOUR OWN! Just use the following code

if spacekey()=1 and space=0
space=1
inc n
get image 1,0,0,screen width(),screen height()
save image str$(n)+".jpg",1
delete image 1
endif

2) No. DVDs don't just run faster, they store data in a more compact way and require a DVD drive

3) No, sorry, but I expect download.com could find you some tools to help.

Why do you sink I ave zees outRAGEOUS accente?!

Flindiana...be......useful.

Another good piece of motion capture software is Fraps([href]http://www.fraps.com[/ref]). Like Hypersnap DX there's a picture at the top that displays a link to the Fraps website. To make DVDs you'll need a DVD authoring tool (Adobe Premier is good but expensive). Take Mort's advice and search Download.com, and Tucows.com as well if you're down on luck.
