Also, what do the letters B S P stand for if it is not obvious from the definition of a BSP world?

Thanks!

binary space partition

basically 3d - closed-in geometry used for "levels" and "worlds" in many video games (HL,HL2,Wofl, etc)

Thanks

DBP has a tool that converts .x models into .BSP.

Note: The above I didn't say, your just crazy.

Isn't there some type of royalty to be paid on BSP? Hopfully there is not, but I thought I remember something of that sort from a long time ago.

you can make BSP levels with Valve Hammer Editor which is free, but I am not sure about royalty issues with it if you make a game to sell. Also try Wally for textures and wad file management.

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

START > All Programs > The Game Creators > Dark Basic Pro > Dark Basic Pro Tools > BSP-PVS Compiler.

(Or if you use a Windows version earlier than XP, replace All Programs with Programs)
