Need an example of a "suspend for key until inkey$() = "r"

This does not work. I know the code must be very simple but it seems to have eluded me.

Any Help Please.

Well, your mixing the commands up.

If just type this in:

The program will stop and wait until the user presses any button on the keyboard.

If you type this in:

The program will stop and wait until the user presses the "r" key.

If you still need help, just ask .
