I'm in a bind, I can't, no matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to figure out how to even make a simple 2-D game! This really bugs me seeing as I want to become a professional game programmer/dohickamacallit person. Could someone help me?

I kinda got confused around the part where you are supposed to rotate the ball and make it bounce back? If anyone could make that in simpler wording that'd help!

Yes.

Hello.

What exactly confused you about the pong tutorial?

This bit?:
Angle# = 180 - Angle#

It seems like you went through it in a bit of a hurry.

Take your time.

it takes time to learn how to program well, ive been doing it for 2 years and i still dont understand a lot of it, just be patient ull learn . If you have specific questions just ask, and well be glad to answer.

Video games…they can take you places unreachable, impossible, unfeasible. They put you in the book...they put you in the movie...they put you in a world, a world that before could only be imagined.

Start simple. If you're struggling with Pong, then you need to start with something easier and build up to it. Try just getting a circle to move around the screen, bouncing of the edges.

Try it first, then have a look to see how I did it -

Heh, yeah, I was kinda in a rush because I had to go, now that I have time, I'll check up on it and try to figure things out. Oh and Darkflame what does the FPS mean? Thanks everyone!
