Will make this quick;

My computer died today, and I had no backups of any of my projects; including Dumbo and Cool. I have no plans to resume game making in the future.

I'd like to give a shout out to VanB for the help and TGC for the great products. I've enjoyed my time here, but I see this as a good opportunity to get out more and sort out some of the problems in my life.

Thanks to all,
Drew

We'll miss you and your sweet games. Perhaps when you've sorted out other parts of your life you'll be back to own us all with your games?

Bye mate I think you were Haggisman on RGT as well? If so, that's a long history. Hope to see you later

Why do I get the feeling this is about something other than a computer glitch?

Drew - I know how you feel, man. This happened to me in January, lost all my source files from all of my games including WordTrix and some others

Good luck with everything else!

That's a real shame Drew - hopefully you'll make a return once the time is right.

No. Sorry to hear that Drew.

Hopefully you'll return sometime otherwise DB has lost one of it's best and most prolific talents.

Good luck.

something similar to this happened to me and i also lost all my source for all my projects.. i know what it feels like.. you work really hard and all goes well, you get great feedback and your willpower grows and you feel like you are somebody. but then it happens.. your screaming out loud and pull of your hair as the tears drip on the table.. ive been there, most programmers have i think..

anyway its sad to see someone leave, good luck with your life.

a dead computer doesn't necesarily mean you can't get the data back but i'm sure you have other reasons too. sorry to see you go and good luck with whatever you're doing.

Best of luck in your future, Drew. May you be as talented in whatever you pursue as you were in programming..
