I have already known the basic of this script from other programes, but I still do not understand completely,

How would I save a characters health, I thought it would be:

open to write characterhealth,characterhealth

How would I load a characters health, I thought it would be:

open to read characterhealth,characterhealth

Please point me in the correct direction with this please!
