how do i position my character? no matter what numbers i put in, it always appears in the very corner of my matrix. i'm getting really ticked off at this, among other things. i appreciate your help.

Could you give me a bigger picture as to what is happening in your game, for example object collisions, and are you using the standard 'make matrix' command?

life is a risk... take it.

Lol I removed it because I did not see your source code. What I had written might have been in your source code so I removed. I'll read your source code and see what I can help with then I'll repost.

In your source you have your character positioned at your camera positions...so in order to move where your character is set, try moving your camera's starting position and see what that does. Hope I helped a little.
