hello all
i have a problem i am just messin around with stuff to try and make a game out of it. what i am doing is making an island with water around it. since the texture sucks if i make a plain big enough to cover my entire 10000 x 10000 matrix i have decided to make little 100 x 100 squares covering the matrix. i can make a diagonal line going across that works fine but i cant figure out how to cover the whole matrix. could some one please help me?.
thanks in advance

This will cover a matrix that size but it is gonna lag really bad. Why not just texture the matrix?

Or, if you want to keep matrix solely for land textures, you can still use a huge plain as water but use SCALE OBJECT TEXTURE command. This allows you to tile a texture across the objects surface.
