ZPF's latest program - Krypt - is a general encryption program with the ablity to encrypt source code as well as emails and other text based documents with 5 different chipers.

Krypt can encode documents with these chipers:

Base 64
MD5
DES
RC4
ZPF - Our own custom encryption chiper!

Krypt can also perfom a dictionary attack on MD5 hashes with our supplied worldlist or one of your specification.

In this age can you afford not to keep your sensitive information secure?

Then why wait, get Krypt and be able to encode and decode your data today!

Krypt will be on sale SOON - £20!

I think your price is a little excessive, encryption using md5 can be done in about 5 minutes using Java.

The program looks well designed though

That may well be true, however Krypt does much more than MD5 encryption and also includes a dictionary attack for working out what an MD5 hash represents.

I type 'cd /usr/ports/security/crack' then 'make install' and I now have the equivalent of Krypt but for free and bundled with my OS.

Not to rain on yor parade but *nix users have had tools like that for years for free and are oftentimes as good as that or better. For example, John the Ripper (http://www.openwall.com/john/) is excellent and works on more platforms than Krypt (which is Windows only). Unless you have a killer feature that would make us buy your product I doubt you'll get much buisness from serious security people.

Yeah, £20 is a bit pricy. Thats around 35$ in the US, plus there are free alternatives (if you use *nix, and there is probably one you can DL for winders).

I then type "cd /usr/local/crack" to go to the directory it installed into and type "Crack -fmt <OS name> <password file>". So in my case, using BSD, I would type "Crack -fmt bsd /etc/master.passwd" and that runs the cracker on the master password file in the background. To view the results I will type "Reporter -quiet" and get the users and their passwords that crack was able to decipher up to that time. However, crack is a very simple and old script and despite the fact that it still works very well newer ones like John the Ripper and slurpie are even better and are still free and available for most operating systems.

I just type 'supar asm hax' and your character in Counter Strike drops dead. BOW DOWN.

It is a perilous occupation for TGC to post anything by way of a promise, as the words get etched in indestructable marble for all time.

I'd really like to thank you for your graet support, it's nice to know that when a programmer has worked very hard to produce the end result he can count on at least SOME positive comments.

I'm sorry mate, but it's sometimes worth taking notice of customer opinions, because after all we're who's going to buy the product and if we think it's a rip off, not many people are going to buy it

It's best take note now and then go off and make improvements rather than go through expense of releasing something and finding you have a white elephant.

Dude, if it was as hard as you said it was, you should have at least put a bit of research into finding other applications that could do encryption, prior to you developing this.

I know, sorry I sounded harsh it's just that certain things just don't sell well. I realize that it probably was a lot of work but you shouldn't expect people to buy software that they can find for free. It's like charging money for Notepad.

You would probably be better off with a trial period and charge at the end
