Hello,
I have started a new website called The Random Game Creation Network. You will find different things related to game creation. It is not finished yet, I will regester the domain soon (Once I finish building the site). All things are done by the forum. Users will interact in the forum and post files in the forum and all that stuff.

Does no-one read the AUP? Its nice and all that you've used Homestead SiteBuilder to make a website and a free forum, but this is relevant to the rest of us why?

Sorry to sound rude, but this is just wasting server space. If you want to advertise your website, put a little note in your signature, and update your profile to include your website

Irrelevant to his post..

Impress us by learning to make original artwork for your site, designing it in HTML, learning html.. creating a skin for your forums, and using a proper host (as homestead is teh uber crap)

You're not the first one to tell us about a new (unfinished) website.. So don't worry, we're rude like this to everyone who's had similar topics..

It's cool though that you want to learn how to make websites..

You're best off creating a website for you alone, like a blog and pics and all that stuff that may one day create a niche following..

The sites that you see showing all kinds of cool proggys and links and reviews and all that jazz is usually a business or for-profit hobby.. You won't get anywhere doing it for nothing

That's the way the world works.

I dun'o.
The next time I build a website, I'm going to use a different host like www.lunarpages.com or www.brinkster.com .

Locking this.

Gonna start locking all the posts like this.

Because if you can't get people to sign up to your forum, or visit your website, or take you seriously, that's your problem, not Apollo's or the people trying to use the forum.
