other countries? sounds cool. Unless you're in the UK, then another country is no more exciting than me going to another state.

lol..yeha..if you live in the USA, like me, then i would go for that...unless it costs too much money for you...

it would be a good experience for you and it would look good on a resume...

I hear it's always a good idea to co-op if you can. Having experience coming out of college(university), will help you get a job quickly(even with the company you co-op with). Having experience in different countries could make you also pretty valuable.

Do it man. There's this exchange student from Brazil who rides my bus, and she says it's cool... so you should do it.

Phaelex, your sig is far too long. I'd do something about it before the mods see.

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

1) If you have real work experience, you will be at a great advantage compared with other students who just took classes. You will know more about the field, you will know if you like doing that work, you will look more attractive to companies.

2) Why do so many people care so much about getting out in 4 years? I can understand if you have serious money problems but stay out of the real world as long as possible I say. But if you co-op, you shouldnt have serious money problems.

So yes do it. You shouldnt even have to think twice about it.
