Oooooooooooooo very nice Do you draw your swords, find them on the web, or do it all freehand in milkshape? If they are on the web- do you think you could tell me the site?

Anyways- really nice sword. Could be usefull in some AVI.s

well as the second uses a photo for the texture (bad Raven ) you can guess the answer to the first.

And i've never been big for using other peoples work ...
If you remember back when DarkArena was in full development (taken over by Mofux now in OGL) i had the Quake3 Characters and weaponry yet i remade all of them in Milkshape
Becuase i could quite easily get it down to say 300

and i want to make a CGR version, all the etchings on it being real polygons - that would be awesome and alot of fun

if anyone has anything they'd like me to just ya know make whilst i'm bored anytime just lemme know of or you'll keep getting silly things like this.

And for those with VRML capable browsers ->Klingorin VRML

doesn't look so static, more like what i'd be like in DB
They didn't really look any different, but they were slightly lower polycounts.

Once i have the texture developed, i'm going to make 2 more versions - a low polygon game version

hehee... i really wanna show everyone my new texture now, but best to wait until i've done.

I took an hour and a half to UV map... currently working on the parts adding some pretty sweet details.
Taking the time to make the etched signia decals and such, and after i'm done remaking the low poly blade.

ya'll all love the look once i'm done as i'm actually putting alot of time and effort into my painting of the texture

Damn man, that's good! It seams sword making has become a hobby round here.

Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man?
Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of samishi?

0_o Oooh.....Purdy Vegeta you are a master.......VRML seems to be overlooked by many people. I think its great, an excellent way of representing things.

medievalweaponart must get so many hits because of the people on this forum. I wonder if anyone's actually bought anything from them yet.....

lmao... you seen their prices?
still not finished ofcourse, some bit to like clean up ofcourse and some to actually make.

One the whole the sword is on the up and up getting there
i'm sure what it is about twin end blade but i love making them ... and you're right not many people use VRML anymore - but its the perfect medium to show off in particular 3D models and worlds

small, easi to program in events, and Blaxxun adds a whole host of goodies to use - suchas BSP Vis, Multi-Texturing etc... i helped them out alot until they went bust a few months back
