Hello, I am not new to Programing or Dark Basic for that matter but I have an error that I can't seem to fix. See I have been using the demo for quite a while and midis work in that but for some reason when I try to make it load midis in the full version it says it can't be loaded. Then when I try to run it again it runs the program but doesn't play the midi. :/ Anyone know how to fix this?

We need more information: the exact source, the midi file, etc, before we can start to address the problem

i think i might know, I know this is really stupid but at first i couldn't load music because i didn't set a directory
The easiest way to do thios is putting the midi on the c:\ drive then type in this.

-_- Once again I will say that I set everything up correctly and the midi is in the directory but thanks anyway.

Post the source + the midi file? I believe this is actually Media Player related, but posting it will confirm.

*bump*
So did that explain it Richard Davey? Or does anyone else know how to fix it?

Also I figured out that MP3s still work it is just midis that don't work.

Your MIDI file (and code obviously) works just fine here. Can you listen to the midi with Media Player?
