A (very) little game in 6 lines.
Nothing fantastic, though it can be quite addictive if you're a little on the neurotic-obsessive side.

The goal is to keep the ball in the air by clicking on it. I can't go further than 35, but it should be easy to beat...

I'd like to know what you think of it. And if you have some suggestions about what I could put in the 14 lines left, I'd be interested too.

PS: I think I've seen a similar game (in Java, perhaps) on a website somewhere, but I can't remember where; Does anybody know ?

Here's an improved version of the game, with "forced timing" and power-up items, in 16 lines.

Please tell me if it works well, and if it's playable (or fun).
Do you think it's good enough for the 20-lines challenge ?

Rules of the game:
- Click on the ball to keep it in the air. Each time you click it, you score 1 point.
- If the ball hits the ground, you loose and your score goes back to zero.
- Click the ball to start a new game, and another one, and another one, till insanity ensues.
Regularly, "power-up" items fall from the sky:
-Green "i" (inflate): makes the ball 10% bigger, thus easier to control.
-Green "P" (Protection): The ground turns green, and you won't loose the next time the ball hits it.
-Blue "G" (Gravity): reduces the gravity and slows down the pace of the game.
-Blue "?" (Random): gives you a random item in this list, or does nothing.
-Pink "5" : adds 5 points to your score.
-Pink "10": adds 10 points to your score.
-Red "D" (deflate): Avoid it! It reduce the ball size by 20%.
-Red "W" (wobble): Avoid it too! It makes the ball very hard to control.

Good luck!

Thank you all! (et merci, Benjamin)

Do you think of anything I could add or enhance? Did you notice a bug?

Yes, it's safer to keep eye lotion within reach. Or to be some half-lizard creature...

Well, looks really good to me. Now improve it and turn it into a complete game and I'm sure you'll be in the range of "duo", ...

I think the ball decelerates too quickly and the ball doesn't fall fast enough.

Good!

I got 49.

I have seen this before in a Flash game, and yours matches it, given that you only have 20 lines to do it in.

Suggestion: When the ball hits the ground, display the score centre-screen. Otherwise you don't know how you did if you didn't beat your high score.
