Yes, I know that DarkBasic doesn\'t run on Mac\'s, but are there any plans to develop DBP for Mac? There are quite a few customers (myself included) that would snatch these up.

Because DBP uses DirectX and that would mean the developers learning OpenGL..

A worthy project. I may be the only one, but I petition for a Mac version of DBP. Yeah, I realize this ain't something that rolls right off the proverbial duck's back, but please get started, there sure are plenty'o Mac users who would appreciate it.

There's no DirectX for the Mac and DB/Pro use that exclusively. It's also a very tiny market (just 5% of the size of the PC one). Game development is a really tiny area as it is - so to then take that to an even smaller market to begin with is just asking for slow sales I'm afraid.

agreed, since the mac isnt very prominent there is just no reason to begin work on porting a very windows based programming language to mac because of the lack of sales
