I have never understood what the obsession is about playing games that try to mimic real-life in every way except that it isnt real. And by real-life, I mean the normal and mundane life most of us experience day to day. For me, I play games to escape real-life. But whatever floats your boat I guess.

Well for the socially deprived nerds of the internet...mimics of real life enables them to act however they want or 'look' however they want and therefore can be a much better real life in their eyes. Just my opinion...but meh!

Bizarre.

The entire point of MMORPGs is to escape to another world where, like, you can slay orcs or raid tombs or become a high priest or pilot a spaceship and crap. The only people I can see being interested in a game that does its damndest (but fails for obvious reasons) to be a photocopy of reality are those who aren't doing too well in the real real world. But most of those people play real MMOs anyways

And speaking of looking amazing, what...? Its graphics are pretty damn bad.

<maddox> yeah, most help channels tend to be elitist.. "HOLY ---- YOU ------- IDIOT, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT ALREADY. NEVERMIND THE PURPOSE OF THIS CHANNEL!
