I got an email on Friday telling me that I was a F**KIN' GEEK (For no obvious reason). Now as far as I know, this is the only forum where I've made my email address known and I just wondering if anyone knows somebody registered as Kids or anything like that.

I've tried replying but I didn't get a straight answer.

Its obviously someone with a record of psycopathy. I recommend you hunt this tractor down and feed him pork scratchings for the rest of his life!

Report them to their ISP. Or to the email provider if one of those free ones. Which may be better as they can then stop their email (bit of a bummer if you are attached to it) or perhaps even report them to their ISP.

At the end of the day if someone cannot handle a flame on a forum (I assume) and want to sneak around with email (ie. no-one else sees how childish they are) then they deserve to be highlighted.

On the other hand, it could be a mate having a laugh with you, and you just don't realise. You t**t. ...notice the winky smiley....

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

You actually think I'd be stupid enough to use the exact same email I present on the forums?

Don't you know how some scams work? Notice how the scammer doesn't use his real name, address, phone number?

I do know.
But why would anybody be sad enough to create an email address in order to (attempt to) insult a random person.

BTW, the address I've got sounds familiar: mcdonald.kids@XXXXXXXXX.XXX
(keeping that bit secret for now)

Its probably a fake e-mail address, easily possible with an anonymous e-mailer.

Smart move, genius. Use a fake email and then admit to it. Nice stealth skills.

How about you post his email here, then all the scammers that look at forums to dig for email addresses can spam him beyond all reasonable belief. We don't even have to personally email him to clog up his inbox.

This is not a place to take care of personal arguments. The possibility of receiving spam and negative messages is a clear consequence of making your email publicly available on a discussion forum.
